Preprocessing is the step in which files are processed and optimized for translation. This step includes character data optimization (CDO), which in turn comprises optical character recognition (OCR) and manual typing tasks.

At the heart of Sprok DTS’s localization services is language processing, which refers to our Translation-Revision-Proofreading (TRP) process. This process is carried out by our linguists using cloud-based computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.

Postprocessing is the stage in which files that have undergone language processing are rendered into the same layout as the source document. This step includes desktop publishing (DTP) processes.

LSO is the final step in the translation process before delivery in which the translated document is reviewed in its entirety from quality to layout.

The completed translation is delivered to the client.
